Educational and Community Outreach Associate


 

Reports to: Sales Manager

FSLA Exemption: Exempt

Division:  Marketing/Sales

Travel required (% of time): 25%

Summary:

The Educational Outreach Associate is a key brand ambassador for Prime Wellness, providing leadership and assistance in the implementation of initiatives to further the mission and vision of Prime Wellness.  The Associate collaborates with public and private educators, public officials and staff, community agencies, civic groups, dispensary management and employees, and others to provide awareness of the value of our products. This Associate is an employee who is trustworthy, organized, and works with minimal supervision. Must uphold a clean and responsible appearance as a representative of the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, participates in, and conducts meetings, trainings, seminars, events, and other related activities. 

  •  Embody company vision and enthusiasm for the product and brand

  • Maintain the professional face and values of the brand

  • Build and maintain customer relationships

  • Maintain current product knowledge

  • Educate customers with company and product knowledge to ensure reliable product information is being communicated to consumers

  • Researches, coordinates, and ensures accuracy of data. 

  • Edits, tracks, reviews, submits, and distributes reports, logs, and other related documents, databases, and/or software within required timeframe and deadlines. 

  • Assists in coordinating, implementing, supporting, and monitoring activities needed to meet deliverables and activities for the project, including identifying and resolving issues. 

  • Assists in evaluating, preparing, updating, and maintaining presentations, guides, and procedure documents.

  • Assists in researching and interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to assure compliance with regulatory and contractual entities to evaluate opportunities for change and improvements.

  • May assist and coordinate internal staff activities and trainings

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and quality of product is always maintained

  • Travel across the state to maintain brand and presence

  • Other Duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management (certain science or engineering disciplines may apply).  

  • 1+ year of sales and customer service experience. Experience in a sales role in health care or in the legal cannabis industry is preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

  • Must complete any training required by the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program and must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must also maintain a valid driver’s license.
