Prime Wellness of Pennsylvania has announced the launch of RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) for sale to dispensaries across Pennsylvania’s growing medical marijuana (MMJ) market. This therapeutic extract is the latest addition to the company’s prime family of products, which includes strain specific vape cartridges and whole flower.

With the introduction of this new product, Prime Wellness joins only a handful of MMJ grower/processors in the Commonwealth to offer RSO. This highly concentrated, potent form of medical marijuana oil was developed by Canadian engineer and MMJ enthusiast Rick Simpson. It was developed to treat serious diseases like cancer and epilepsy.

“We recognized a need in the market and determined it was time to take our product offerings to the next level of care,” said Sharon Ali, Regional General Manager, Pennsylvania & Maryland, Acreage Holdings, Inc., Prime Wellness’ parent company. “We are excited to make RSO accessible to the growing number of Pennsylvania patients who may benefit from its powerful therapeutic properties.”

Prime Wellness will make available two premium kinds of RSO containing CBD – a Balanced Blend and a THC Blend. Both blends are crafted from a wide range of prime whole flower strains and offer diverse cannabinoid content, which provides the patient with the maximum amount of healing properties. After an ethanol extraction process by Prime Wellness’ industry-trained engineers, the product will be packaged in 1 mL syringes for patients to ingest.

“As with all of our products, Prime Wellness’ RSO is cultivated and processed in a strictly controlled environment at our custom-designed indoor facility, which means unsurpassed quality and consistency,” said Brandon Miller, Director of Production at Prime Wellness.
