In today’s edition, we’re detailing the latest strains and exclusive blends available in our prime pods — a first-to-market innovation for Commonwealth patients.
Premium Live Resin, in a Premier Hardware
In keeping with our reputation for innovation, our prime pods are taking the Commonwealth medical marijuana industry– and the patient experience– to the next level, as the first grower processor to make iKrusher pod batteries available in the Pennsylvania program.
Fans of our premium live resin can still expect the same quality from our pods as our cartridges — 100% derived from our expertly grown plant material and flash frozen to capture harvest-fresh terpenes. Patients can look forward to several new, prime-exclusive strains available with our high-quality pod hardware on store shelves this month. First of note is the Urban Blueberry Extractor’s Blend, a coveted combination of our Urban Legend #24 and Sour Blueberry #2 cultivars. Urban Legend #24, known as our new car pheno, boasts sweet and mellow aromas with distinctive notes of potpourri and tennis balls. Sour Blueberry #2 earned its “diesel” nickname from its unmistakable aromas of pungent gas. Both of these strains are rich in the terpene myrcene, an aromatic compound in medical marijuana that may hold sedative and pain-relieving potential for patients with various qualifying conditions— including anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, and chronic pain. Contributing to the diesel pheno’s profile is linalool, a terpene found in many flowers and spice plants, such as lavender, which may potentially help elevate moods.
For patients who can’t get enough of our 100% medical marijuana-derived terpenes, the PT-Star Thai blend is one prime product they won’t want to miss. Packing nearly 12% total terpenes, the PT-Star Thai live resin pod is a shining example of the high-quality medicine our extraction team creates. This blend is a cross between our core cultivars PT Stardawg #36, an indica that features sweet notes of creamy chem, and African Thai #15, a zesty and hashy sativa. When it comes to lab results, African Thai is our “king” of prime genetics, with some batches testing for 39% total cannabinoids. The top terpenes in this blend’s profile are myrcene and caryophyllene. Caryophyllene is the only terpene known to activate the body’s endocannabinoid system, which contains naturally occurring medical marijuana-like substances that help regulate important functions ranging from digestion and inflammation to mood.
Each of these products will be available in both 0.5 and 1ml volumes at dispensaries across the Commonwealth — offering a larger dose option for live resin to better meet patient desires. Paired with our new pod technology’s 3.2 voltage and precise temperature control, patients can look forward to these products’ harvest-fresh flavors from first inhale to last.
